Pro-Metal seeks to guarantee the highest level of transparency and ethics in its activities and to this end, it has invested in create the Compliance and Integrity Program, which aims to promote a culture of integrity, ethics and sustainability in business, always based on the Code of Ethics and Conduct.
The program is led by the Corporate Governance sector, which is also responsible for carrying out investigations and internal investigations arising from the Ethics Channel. To ensure independence and comply with best practices, the Corporate Governance reports directly to the General Director of Pro-Metal.
We consider Compliance to be a responsibility of all employees, regardless of their position within the company. Pro-Metal. We are committed to implementing an appropriate framework to provide advice, support and guidance to everyone, ensuring that ethical and regulatory requirements are identified and met in a timely manner skillful.
Pro-Metal structured its Compliance Program, aiming to consolidate initiatives for promotion and strengthening the culture of integrity and ethics, ensuring risk mitigation through security mechanisms prevention, detection and correction of unwanted acts inconsistent with the Code of Ethics and Conduct, policies and company procedures.
Prevention: Identify, check and mitigate risks, through training and professional development of employees Pro-Metal collaborators.
Detection: Pillar of joint action between employees and the Compliance program, through the Ethics Channel, only being used if the previous pillar fails.
Correction: Pillar of joint action with the Ethics and Conduct Committee, which aims to directly support the Compliance Program and establish responses and penalties applicable to each illicit and unwanted case/act that goes against the Code of Ethics and Conduct.

ETHICS CHANNEL

Further reinforcing its transparent and honest performance in all its businesses, Pro-Metal established an Ethics Channel. Through it, employees, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders, can anonymously register their allegations, concerns and complaints, in relation to attitudes that violate the Code of Ethics and Conduct and the legislation in force in our country. Allegations are consolidated by company independent,Aliant – specialist in reporting channels it is forwarded for analysis by the Investigations Committee and after investigation, it is forwarded to the Ethics and Conduct Committee, which will establish responses and penalties applicable in each illicit and unwanted case/act.
All reports are treated confidentially and confidentially, without causing any exposure to the complainant. It is practical, safe and anonymous and also has the option of monitoring the progress of the report.
